BLUE PILL AS OBSERVATIONAL REFINEMENT -- version 1.0 (2026-10-28)
Anonymous. Prepared for Higher Categorical Semantics.

Files
manuscript.md Full canonical manuscript, proofs and references.
  blue-pill-semantics.pdf Typeset full manuscript.
blue-pill-semantics.tex Standalone LaTeX generated from the manuscript.
journal-submission.md Condensed journal presentation (20,000-char limit).
  finite_model.py Synthetic finite-state semantic checks.
verification-report.json Exact generated results, not hardware benchmarks.
preamble.tex, build.sh Typesetting configuration and reproducible build.
SHA256SUMS Digests of the package files except this manifest.

Run the finite checks with Python 3.10+:
  python3 finite_model.py
They use the standard library, exact rational arithmetic, and ordinary assertions.
Do not use Python's -O flag, which disables assertions. No network, device,
privileged operations, malware, virtualization setup, or persistence is included.

Build the PDF and LaTeX with Python, Pandoc, and TeX Live (Latin Modern,
amsmath, mathtools, microtype, fancyhdr, hyperref):
  bash build.sh
The PDF can alternatively be rebuilt from blue-pill-semantics.tex with pdflatex.

The unbounded mathematical results have written proofs. The code checks only
the finite examples and local simulation obligations described in Section 9.
It is not a proof assistant, a verified hypervisor, or a Blue Pill implementation.
